All Children in grades kindergarten through 12 are eligible to participate in the ice hockey
program. This program is designed to teach basic skating and hockey skills.
We meet every Saturday morning starting in September and running into February,
at Leisure Rinks, Southtowns, 75 Weiss Road near the corner of Rts. 277 and 240
(just north of Southwestern Blvd.).
Most hockey programs stress competition, we do not. Our program is designed to take a child
with little or no skating ability and teach them proper skating techniques and hockey skills.
Each child will receive equal ice time regardless of ability. We use scrimmages to let them
develop and use their skating skills.
The Towns of Elma, Marilla, and Wales fund part of the cost of the program.
The fee for EMW residents is $170.00. The fee for non residents is $200.00.
